Bangna sits on the eastern edge of the city, built around Mega Bangna, IKEA and the BITEC exhibition centre. Streets are low-rise and you get considerably more space per baht than anywhere central. Suvarnabhumi airport is a short drive away. The area is designed around driving: the BTS reaches here, but central Bangkok is a long ride, so most residents have a car.
