Asok is where the BTS and MRT cross, which makes it the easiest address in Bangkok to get around from: most of the city is one train and at most one change away. Terminal 21 sits directly above the station, Soi 11 has the bars and clubs, and Benjakitti Park is a ten-minute walk east. The surrounding sois are dense with offices, hospitals and serviced apartments. It's busy at all hours and rents are among the higher ones on the line, which is the trade for not needing a taxi.
